Evolution 001: Four Hoodies, One Thread
Rooted in culture. Designed to evolve.
Anansi never stayed the same for long. Every time his story was told, on a veranda in St Elizabeth or in a kitchen in Brooklyn, it shifted a little to fit the person listening. That is how a story outlives the storyteller. It changes without losing itself.
Evolution 001 is built on that idea. It is the first chapter of a line about growth: four hoodies, four voices, and one thread running through all of them. Each one carries the same words, "Designed to evolve," because that is the promise behind everything we make.
Chrome
Cold, polished and unmistakable. Liquid chrome ANANCI lettering flows across the back above a four point star, with a smaller chrome wordmark on the chest and a single star on the right cuff. Chrome is what the future looks like when the work is finished: smooth, reflective and impossible to ignore. Available in black, navy, dark green and charcoal.
Gold Heritage
If Chrome looks forward, Gold Heritage looks back. An ornate gold wordmark, framed in flourishes, sits above the line "The Storyteller." On the chest, a fine line spider waits quietly beside the logo, a nod to the one who started it all. This is the piece for anyone who knows you cannot grow without roots. Available in maroon, black and dark green.
System Error
Growth is not always clean. Sometimes it looks like breaking. System Error splits the ANANCI wordmark into scanlines and red and blue glitch bars, printed on a relaxed, heavyweight faded black fleece that feels lived in from the first wear. It is a reminder that the moments when everything seems to fall apart are often the moments you are being rebuilt.
Frequency
Turn the volume up. Neon yellow graffiti lettering spells ANANCI across the back, wrapped in a green glow and underlined with a bold brush stroke. A glowing spider web marks the right cuff. Frequency is the sound system on a Saturday night, the energy of a crowd that knows every word. It comes on the same faded black fleece as System Error, made to be worn loud.
One thread
Four very different hoodies, but look closer and the same story runs through each one: the wordmark, the star, the web and the line "Designed to evolve." Chrome is ambition. Gold Heritage is memory. System Error is the struggle. Frequency is the celebration. Together they make the full cycle of becoming who you are going to be.
